V celovečernom filme The A-Team je použitá podobná šablóna
akčných scén ako v obľúbenom seriáli. V pôvodnej verzii štyria vietnamskí veteráni,
odsúdení za ozbrojené prepadnutie, ujdú z väzenia. Blízky východ im nahradí
Vietnam. Oproti pôvodnej verzii tu však nastane zlomový bod v príbehu.
Pôvodná séria filmov The A-Team prebiehala v rokoch 1983 až 1987, a hrali v ňom
George Peppard, Mr. T, Dirk Benedict a Dwight Schultz. Tento team sa nezastavil
pred ničím, aby chytili "zlých chlapcov".
